DXF Import

Easel now supports importing the DXF file format directly into Easel. DXF files are a popular file type exported from such programs as AutoCAD, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, DraftSight, and more.

This eliminates steps and improves accuracy when bringing your designs from these programs into Easel for carving.

To use this feature, just select “DXF” from the import menu in the toolbar.

Note: There is currently a maximum file size limit of 6MB on the converted design. This is not a limitation on the size of the uploaded DXF file, but rather the format (SVG) that Easel converts it to. In practice if your DXF file is smaller than 6MB, this should usually not be an issue.
